Steve has worked on many recording projects over the years. In the 1980's he started producing small run cassettes which he then sold at his gig's. Gradually as the technology improved the switch to CD production began.

In 2003 steve set up a fully functioning recording studio at the 'Domain', near Whitletts road, Ayr, for the Council. This was part of the facility offered by the 'Play it by ear' project in association with Rob Hall.
Most Clients will have a rough idea of what they want to record and will always appreciate friendly advice or assistance regarding musical arrangements and structures. Gently steering a project in a certain direction or being able to make pragmatic decisions is part of the job of the Producer and steve has this quality to offer if required.
Steve also has extensive knowledge in providing live PA and sound re enforcement for bands and solo acts.
